Orere Political Movement Slams IGC, Says APC  Not Private Agenda

Pro Itsekiri political pressure group, the Orere Political Movement for Good Governance,  has slammed the Itsekiri Grassroots Coalition, IGC, saying   All Progressives Congress in Warri Federal Constituency, must be driven by collective interest, not  "selfish private agenda."

Chairman of  Orere Political Movement for Good Governance, Laju Dennis Mukoro, made the declaration in an electronic statement, sent to Fresh Angle International, Sunday April 19.

While stating that no individual or group has the monopoly to dictate the direction of the APC in Warri, Mukoro, emphasized that the party belongs to all card-carrying members across the riverine and upland areas, from youths to elders.

“APC belongs to all card-carrying members in Warri Federal Constituency. From the riverine to the upland, from the youths to the elders. Nobody should mislead Iwere land because of selfish interest. We are not here for stomach infrastructure. We are here for Itsekiri progress,” Mukoro stated.

He added: “IGC don’t have that capacity. They are just making noise. Party is about structure, members and the people.

“During ward delineation, when Itsekiri needed strong voices, where were they? When our interest needed to be defended, where was IGC?

“If you want to lead, come to the field, contest, mobilize, deliver your unit, win your ward. That is how you earn a voice in APC, not by decree from any palace.”

“Those sets of failed desperate supposed intermediate leaders, who is seeking relevance through division.

“People who earn their daily living through internal brouhaha (Divide and rule). Nobody from the palace, has the monopoly to make decisions for our dear party, APC.”

“Itsekiri must move forward. Warri Kingdom must move forward. And APC in Warri must be driven by collective interest, not private agenda.”
